The main benefit of having grip on your shorts is at the bottom of your Log Clean or once you have lapped the atlas stone the object will not move. This allows you to generate more power/force in your triple extension making your Log Clean or Stone Load more efficient.
Our Strongman Grip Shorts also have internal grip sections on both the waistband and around the inside of the thighs. This means no movement in your shorts - they cannot slip or move while being pulled under heavy loads allowing you to put 100% effort into your lift. In addition, with the added benefits of the shape, cut and material of our shorts, you will receive some mechanical advantage in movements involving your lower body for a welcome performance boost. They also provide compression to your upper legs, hips, groin and glutes to improve your athletic performance as well as aid recovery.
